Becoming stakeholders in the day-to-day running of school activities, students elect their cabinet through the process of voting.
All four houses—Shivaji, Tagore, Azad, and Raman—nominate their representatives while ensuring parity. The polling process takes a day, during which all candidates present their cases. Students from grades V to XII vote to select the most deserving candidate. The cabinet consists of the Head Boy and Head Girl, Junior Head Boy and Junior Head Girl, Sports Secretary, Discipline Secretary, and Cultural Secretary.

Healthy competitions are a way of life at SBBPS. We aim to achieve higher skills and better experiences through inter-house competitions. Each house, led by a house captain and vice-captain, strives to give its best. Houses are not only judged on the sports ground or relay tracks but also through notice boards and assemblies. Students learn about their strengths and weaknesses, helping to build a strong team spirit through various competitions such as the Inter-House English Song Competition, Inter-House Sports Competition, and Inter-House Scholastic and Non-Scholastic Competitions.
"The morning assembly is a common meeting ground where each individual brings their offerings—the fruit of their observations and studies, or the music, literature, and art that delight them. It is a place where all cooperate for the pleasure and well-being of the whole."
No words can describe the morning assemblies of SBBPS better than the lines above. The morning assembly is conducted by each house, showcasing their skills through performances while highlighting the significance of the day. Special assemblies are conducted on days of national importance and awareness, such as Independence Day, Republic Day, Youth Day, and National Skill Day, among others. Festivals also hold a special place in the morning assembly.

Through active participation in various sports, students learn discipline, teamwork, and perseverance. The school provides ample opportunities for students to engage in a wide range of sports and games, from athletics to team sports like football, cricket, basketball, and more. Regular sports meets, inter-school competitions, and annual sports days allow students to showcase their talent and hone their skills.
