Table Manner Activity
Our school organized a Table Manner Activity to help students learn the importance of good eating habits and proper behavior at the dining table. The activity was both educational and fun. We were taught how to sit straight, place a napkin properly, and use a spoon, fork, and knife in the correct manner. We also learned to chew with our mouths closed, not to talk while eating, and to always say "please," "thank you," and "excuse me" at the right times.
Teachers demonstrated each step with real examples, and we got the chance to practice with our classmates. We understood why it is important to respect food, eat quietly, and wait for everyone to be served before starting a meal. The session also focused on not wasting food and maintaining cleanliness during meals.
This activity helped us become more confident and polite. It taught us life skills that we can use not just at home, but also at restaurants, parties, and other social gatherings. We really enjoyed the activity and learned how small actions at the table can show big respect to others.
